Training Centre Direct celebrated at the Bexley Business Awards after winning a Finalist Award for ‘Best Business for Apprenticeships and Employment for Young People’ in Partnership with Bexley for Business, Prospects and the London Borough of Bexley in teaming up to celebrate business success for helping new people back into work in London and Kent.
European Union Award
The European Social Fund contributes funding to help train people and help them get into work, promote social inclusion, improve education & training. The ESF is Europe’s main tool for promoting employment and social inclusion, helping people get a job (or a better job) and integrating disadvantaged people into society.
National Lottery Award
£712.7m of funding helping 6.2 million people, including £509.6m awarded through 8,704 grants in England. The Big Lottery Fund funds projects and activities that make communities stronger and more vibrant, and that are led by the people who live in them. They support charities, community groups, and people with great ideas, local or national, large or small.

Train to Gain Award
Training Centre Direct celebrated after recently compiling a self assessment review (SAR) of an £88k+ Train to Gain contract where our overall completion success figure was measured at 83%. Train to Gain which was a UK government funded initiative to deliver vocational training to employed adults was designed to deliver vocational training to employed individuals in the UK.
Skills Funding Agency Award
Training Centre Direct celebrated after recently compiling a self assessment review (SAR) of an £120k+ SFA contract where our overall completion success figure was measured at 87%. The Skills Funding Agency (SFA) funds skills training for further education (FE) in England. SFA supports over 1,000 colleges, private training organisations, and employers with more than £4 billion of funding.
British Library Award
Training Centre Direct celebrated after an award winning place was secured on the British Library innovating for growth programme. £10,000 worth of funded business training, support and guidance has been secured where all essential areas are covered including business strategy and sustainability, branding, intellectual property, product development and market penetration.

Exhibitor Space Award
Training Centre Direct are pleased to announce our winning application of our Lift Engineering exhibition displayed at the Thames Innovation Centre. The Made in Bexley Exhibition is a platform to showcase innovation, products and services. It demonstrates how Bexley’s companies are making an impact on the UK economy and how they are an integral part of the community.
Industry News Award
Training Centre Direct have had dozens of articles in lift trade magazine Elevation, which was launched in October 1994, targeted specifically at the British Lift Industry. We’ve also been awarded a front page feature, not once, but twice and had countless mentions on social media website together with 100’s of online, video testimonials from lift people that have been trained through our centre.
Employment Provider Award
Training Centre Direct again celebrated their success after evaluating multiple funding awards for helping new people start work in the Lift Industry. With a combined programme of over £420,000, we were able to help 470 unemployed people find work and over 67 young students from 4 local colleges get advanced training through in house training sessions.
