SO, WHAT DO YOU DO?

We provide information, advice and guidance on the best training courses covering Apprenticeship Frameworks, Distance/Home based studies, Onsite/Classroom Learning & Assessment, funded new Lift Engineer Mate Training, Trailblazer Apprenticeships and the exam based Level 2 Lift Industry Standard (LIS) 2426 Certificate of Validated Achievement. We advise lift owners to only use lift engineers who are approved on the lift engineer safe register to help prevent workplace accidents occurring in the first place. Poor or inadequate risk assessments covering PUWER, LOLER, MHSWR, COSHH, MHOR, PPE, WHR are common areas of non-compliance and lack of continued and up-to-date accredited training resulting in lift operatives being classed as incompetent under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 where fines and legal administration for court proceedings can be costly. In a survey carried out in during 2016, over 85% of lift firms would fail a Health & Safety Audit under BS 7255:2012 (Code of Practice for Safe Working on Lifts) as the competency of their employed lift operatives could not be suitably proved.

Also, we give reassurance to the lifts building owner regarding safety aspects of lift engineers and run training and examination courses to measure the competency of lift engineers to reduce workplace accidents in the Lift Industry and saving the lift owner and lift company owner serious amounts of money in fines. We deliver the lift industry approved ‘Working Safely in an Engineering Environment’ (Lift Safety) EOR202N unit accreditation and the Ofqual accredited Level 3 National Vocational Qualifications in Lift Service, Repair & Installation and the QCF Level 4 Lift Testing & Commissioning for lift test engineers and technicians certificate to over 150 clients from the UK and overseas. Lastly, we periodically run new training courses for lift mates that are Government funded and
hire them out to you on a temp-to-perm basis, so you can try before you commit to employ.
