Lift Sales Manager £40,000 Essex and surrounding areas, (ST77)

Background

My client who has a enviable position in the lift industry is currently looking for a lift sales manager to cover Essex and surrounding area to join their team. They specialise in servicing & installing lift systems of all sectors. They’ve grown consistently year-on-year and continue to expand their operation with further growth expected in 2012 to include additional upgrading of lifts. They pay particular attention to developing their staff and invest in their lift sales professional which they believe is essential to maintaining sustainable and future growth.

Overview of Job

Provide technical feedback including support for estimating and costing purposes.
Build effective relationships with internal and external customers
Good communicator both orally and in writing, providing clear and relevant information to others
Manage and control field service operations in the area
Be the first point of contact for all technical or operational issues raised by the customer
Be accountable for the costs of the maintenance field operations (callouts, service repairs, planned
maintenance),
Responsible for being familiar with all aspects of the clients lift or other manufacturer of lift equipment
Ensure that true and accurate reports of activities and work carried out are submitted on time
Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and kept in good repair

Keyskills

5 years+ experience required
Competent in all Microsoft packages, outlook, internet, and company specific software
Currently working as a sales person
Knowledge of employment law, safety knowledge and experience or potential to learn local business practices like
employment regulations, union’s environment, etc.
Management skills (basic understanding of P&L / basic of quality management, etc)
You must have previous experience in the Lift / Escalator industry in order to apply for this role
Good time management skills
Punctual and reliable
A valid driving license is required
