TCDs committment to raising awareness of Lift Engineering Apprenticeships is evident through our partner links. We work alongside local colleges and help their students gain employment in the lift industry.
These projects could not have been fulfilled without the help of Plastow Electrical Wholesalers (PEW).
Jason Clark, Director of PEW said "We're thrilled to be helping TCD and we also really enjoyed taking some time out to give these students a guided tour of our building," he continued "We're committed supporters of training and innovation in helping our industry encourage new apprenticed trained lift engineers into the trade."
Ron Smith, senior Lecturer at Lewisham College commented "All the students and support staff were delighted with what Training Centre Direct has done to help these younger and talented individuals," he also confirmed "It was great to see Rob explain very simple and easy to understand lift control panel faults that were simulated in the classroom and was also an eye opener to actually see the many different lift components available at PEWs impressive site."
